Kicking off the Plenary Session, Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh - President of VIAC delivered the keynote presentation about “Justice, law and development: Their intertwined nature and role in sustainable development.” He emphasized that CSR goes beyond mere legal compliance to embrace justice, ethics, humanity, and social equity. In other words, economic development must go hand in hand with moral responsibility.CSR enables businesses not only to operate within the bounds of the law but also to address broader social challenges, protect workers’ rights, and move toward sustainable development. Companies that implement CSR effectively can enhance transparency in governance, build reputation, contribute to societal stability and fairness.
